Every Woodys building is finished in Mid-Florida Metal Roofing Supply panel. Sixteen painted colors, plus Galvalume, all rated for how hard they work in the Florida sun.

Galvalume is also available. It is a bare mill finish rather than a painted color, so it is not on the chart and carries no SR/SRI rating.

Colors shown are close representations. Actual color chips are available on request, and color, gauge and profile availability should be confirmed before you order.

Two Thicknesses

29 gauge and 26 gauge

29 gauge is the standard panel and covers most barns: economical, weather resistant, and available in every color above that is not marked 26 ga. For larger buildings, coastal wind loads or high traffic structures we step up to 26 gauge, which is thicker and opens up the architectural finishes.

These 6 are 26 gauge only: Copper Metallic, Crinkle Charcoal, Black, Hawaiian Blue, Colony Green, Matte Black.

Not sure which you need? It comes out of the design conversation, not off a price list — tell us the building and we will tell you what it should be.

What SR and SRI actually mean

Solar Reflectivity is how much of the sun’s energy the panel throws back, from 0 to 1. The Solar Reflectance Index folds in how fast it sheds the heat it does absorb. Both numbers are printed under every swatch above, and in Florida they are worth paying attention to: a Polar White roof at SRI 77 runs a great deal cooler over your horses, your equipment or your workshop than a Matte Black one at 25.

That is a comfort and running cost question, not a right and wrong one. Plenty of our best looking barns are dark.
