The short answer
If you need a lot of covered space with nothing under it but posts, build an open pole barn. If you need secure, enclosed working space with roll up doors, build a garage or workshop. If you need enclosed, weather tight, lockable storage and want a choice of exterior, build a storage barn.
Open pole barns
Pressure treated posts, hurricane rated trusses and a metal roof, with no walls and no interior posts in the way. The simplest thing we build and the most versatile, going over tractors, hay, boats, RVs, livestock or a run in shelter. From a 1,000 sq ft minimum, typically 24 to 96 ft wide, up to 16 ft clear height and up to 60 ft clear span. Want walls later? A shed row, storage building or garage can be added to the same structure.
Garages and workshops
Enclosed garages and workshops from a single bay to a full equipment shop, 1 to 6+ bays and typically 20 to 60 ft wide. Roll up doors, walk doors, windows, insulation and concrete are options. Trim, colors and rooflines are matched to our barn builds, so a garage can be ordered to pair with an existing or planned barn.
Storage barns
Fully enclosed buildings framed with wood trusses, typically 24 to 48 ft wide. The exterior does not have to be metal: we finish storage buildings in metal panel, wood or Hardie board, whichever suits the property. Options include a concrete slab, roll up doors, a covered porch and lean tos.
